"FRANCO is a registered Non-Profit Organization and Public Benefit Organization, whose aim has always been to join efforts with local associations in order to provide the most efficient and targeted aid to the specific adverse circumstances affecting residents in our community.
We help to coordinate the efforts of any person, group, company, charity, or welfare organization engaged in improving the lives of not only historically disadvantaged people, but any person, of any color, religion, race, or language who has fallen upon hard times”.
Ron Whytock - Founder
We aim to help the disadvantaged uplift themselves and achieve standards of dignified living by offering assistance for training, education, and self-employment.
Our vision is to create a highly functional network for the management and support of all entities in the Franschhoek Valley and their projects.
To conduct all our efforts in an honest and transparent manner, driven by Christian values, but without being prescriptive or intrusive to any individual or group.
How We Do This
By providing financial and mentoring support to help reintroduce a sense of pride and self-esteem into under-resourced communities in the Franschhoek Valley, we primarily focus on supporting education in the holistic term.
From partnering with Early Childhood Development, primary, secondary, and tertiary education to supporting curricular and extracurricular programs in art, culture, and sport.
In addition, we believe that it is critical to find ways of protecting the future sustainability of both our people and our natural resources. Hence, we support programs that address environmental concerns and empower young people through skills development, unemployment support groups, and economic inclusion activities.

Regular support to ECD’s (Early Childhood Development) programs
Merit and need scholarships to Secondary School students
