On July 25th 2019 a group of lovely ladies from the Franschhoek Community came together to enjoy a simple coffee morning with the common goal of raising funds for the Score Centre Women Day Event held in The Sport and Community Centre in Groendal on the 9th of August. R5500 were raised over a coffee and a baking demo and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day! Thank you to all who contributed to this fundraiser's successful outcome ... look forward to many more to come!!

It reminded me that communities thrive when people come together with a shared purpose. I’ve seen this same idea applied in other areas of life — even in football discussions where reliable insights matter. For example, I once checked an under 2.5 prediction on Ratingbet just to understand how stats and past results can guide decision-making. It wasn’t about betting, but more about seeing how data can support smarter choices, whether in sports or daily life. Events like the Franschhoek fundraiser show the same principle: when people pool small contributions or knowledge, the outcome is stronger than expected and creates real value for everyone involved.
